still not happy that we had Shaw Chambers and llalana wrenched from us. How come we can't hold on to our home grown players? And a word of warning. what is there to say that the Board won't subject us to a repeat performance next summer and sell our best players yet again.

Well Monte if we get the same result bring it on - let's sell 5 players for £90m plus and spend £60m buying 8 better players. It will be a great new way to champions league. The academy boys will get a chance too.

We have let Gaston go but we did not confirm any signings.

I don't know how this team will gel this season, but signs are looking positive. Please get off Les Reeds back. He didn't cause the problems for this summer and yet he, and the rest of the board-and RoKo-have put in a massive amount of hard graft to rebuild our club. Maybe some of the signings will not be every-bodies choice but if we had only had to add two players that would still be the case. Give the guy a break.

Thanks Les for all you have done! Its about time fans united behind you and the Board, and I am very confident that they will.

Les and everyone involved have done a fantastic job this summer. They've let the players who didn't want to be here go (for a huge profit), kept Morgan, J-Rod, Cork etc and bought in players like Tadic, Pelle, Bertrand and hopefully Alderweireld and Mane who are as good if not better than the players we've let go and brought in a much better manager.

Time for everyone to get off the boards back and stop making up stupid conspiracy theories as to their plans for the club I think

What can we say? I know it's early doors but I for one am extremely excited about the players we bought in this summer.

Tadic looks like the sign of the summer, Pelle looks like now he's started scoring there will be no stopping him, bringing in 2 possible world class players this evening and every position covered with quality, experience and youth.

Who here has to admit they were impatient, negative and damn right pee'd off with our club this summer?

I was one of these people but now I am glad to say I can eat my own words and be proud of our club.

I'm so excited for this season and after much negativity we have a strong standing SQUAD who all look like they are out to play for the club and each other.

Finish above spurs, a terrible seasons for Lovren and Llalana and this could be the best season ever ;o)

I will be a lot happier when Toby A and Sadio Mane are actually unveiled and not press speculation.
Only then will I be upbeat about this season and the job that the board are doing!

With Toby all but signed up the latest idea of using Hoover as part of a trade for Redmond makes really good sense. That would put the icing on the cake for a great squad going forward. No doubt in my mind now a top 10 finish. let's all get behind the team board, coaches and players and enjoy the rest of the season.

Was nice to see the club will refund anyone who got taider on the shirt.

Looks like Alderweireld and Mane are Saints. Top work, Saintsfc. So pleased they got both targets. Up the Saints!!

First post great site I must say bar a few heroic posters 😄Toby Alderweireld looks like a great signing and gives us the option of plan b formations if needed and will also feel the need to prove people wrong after average season at athletico. As for Townsend I'd prefer Rodriquez all day long and feel spurs only interested in a swap. Townsend rarely has an end product from what iv seen bar his run with England last year. Was caught badly for goal against the pool. This Senegal guy looks really impressive but you tube doesn't tell all. Saying that I think Keoman could improve Townsend if he does arrive. Impressed with his signings so far pelle will improve the more games he plays. Tadic looks a bargain as does Bertrand in loan. Ff in goal another good bit of business young and wants to improve. As for long over priced but what he might lack in other areas he will more than make up for it with heart and determination.

I'll be glad when this is all over tonight. If we land Toby that would be awesome. I'd be happy with Redmond but would prefer Mane. I just hope that any deal today does not involve the north london wannabees and Levy. just steer the ship well clear Les!
