I couldnt follow the updates of the Evian game due to being out but i see we played Shaw and Clyne on the wings supporting the striker? does anybody know why this is, did they say?
or was NA just trying to give everyone game time hence playing them outta possision?

He was trying to give them some experience pushing up the pitch and getting back, it's a clever training tactic used on players to improve their ability in their position so they can work out whats the best way to play it. Shaw and CLyne getting experience on the wings means they'll be able to do more in the push forward and get to see what the position wants from the defender behind them. Also it is a good stamina boost wingers tend to have to run further than wing backs.

Looks great to me, pacy wingers and wing-backs, solid packed midfield and Lambert up front. Should win more than we lose with a line-up like that if they click.

I reckon we'll take a new CB from Spain or Holland... As for the line up I believe (might be wrong) Lee will be used on the left wing and Lens on the right. Rodriguez will play centre forward and I reckon it might be 4-4-2 next season with Sharp or Lambert with Jay Rod. Also I reckon Shaw or Fox will be left back probably swapping dependant on training performances. Lallana will probably play centre mid with Davis.

Alright lads :) as we are going into the premier league after a long 7 year absence, i personally feel we should go back into it in style. i know we will have quality signings but i mean like we the fans should, i think a new chant is in order, so if you come up with a good one post it below the comment with the most likes wins :D

NA has said he still wants to sign 1 more keeper before the start of the season, with forcast joining gillingham for the seaon, we only have 2. and as adkins said "i want to go into the premier leauge with 3 keepers, so we will be signing another keeper before the start of the season" - chris
