Hi Guys
Just come back from st mary's after the abysmal game against west brom, I told you that pelle was'nt good enough and got a load of abuse for it post's saying he needs more time to settle in etc. he may have scored a hatfull of goals in the dutch league which is on a par with div1 bottom of the championship at best this guy wouldn't get in eastliegh's side clearly not good enough for prem never saw him win one ball against Liverpool never saw him get one shot away we then spend 12 million on Shane long who may settle in and be a reasonable purchase at 7/8 million returning to the west brom game I paid perticular attention to pelle who again never won one ball in the air didn't do much with the ball when it was handed to him at his feet never got one shot on gaol sorry never had one shot, this guy can't get off the ground and i'm sorry if this post upsets some fans but if we don't get attacking reinforcments we are in big trouble

I agree it not looking good for pelle but I disagree with you on him not winning any balls against westbrom he won a couple here n there but overall looked pretty lazy the tempo in final 3rd was poor

We need another striker to give competition up front. I think he will OK though. He needs better service. Roko will put that right

Pretty dire from the Saints today, sadly. Two shots on target against a WBA side that'll be fighting relegation and looked far more dangerous going forward.
Worrying stuff.
Everything's so slow and laboured, and the obsession with hoofing long balls up to Pelle (to lose) is a waste of everyone's time.
Lots of work to be done on the training pitch and in the transfer market if this isn't to become a relegation battle of a season. Just don't see where the goals are going to come from - Tadic was the only remotely creative player in the XI, and all he had to aim for was an immobile lump.
Saints have spent a lot and ended up with not much.
Still, Forster did all right. And the stripes are back. So everyone must be deliriously happy.

Pelle looked way off the pace couldn't turn to save his life but nobody feeding off him either. the way the team is set up is a disaster and compared with last season we were hopeless.Bottom line is only three regulars were missing and still we looked bad. Hooffing the ball is not what Southampton are all about, and for that I blame Koeman.

Still a lot of work to do. I know WB defended with 11 men but we struggled to make enough decent chances. Forster was good as was Tadic. Long wasnt really in it and Pelle certainly got better. We just need them to read each other better.
