Predictions? It wont be easy as I respect Wigan and Martinez. But our tails are up and with Moses gone, I think we can turn them over 3-0.

Agree0 Disagree2

I have been right about Swansea VS West Ham, lets hope I get the others right as well. (Sunderland VS Reading is PP so that score may happen in a while but still can happen).

Agree0 Disagree1

Southampton 0-2 wigan. anyone thinking that na and nc really have not thought through how to start the season lol. and i'm pissed thought saints were gonna take the prem by storm more like relegation fight

Agree1 Disagree0

Alot of press movement at st mary's, possibility of a signing and after seeing Jon Jo shelvey's kid wearing a saints shirt who knows?

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Just wondering if they have already signed somebody and want to introduce them before the game starts tomorrow. Long shot but the Italians love theatrical moments. Silly thought but might happen , anybody agree or am I living in dreamland. Hope I am about 4.50 tomorrow.

Am I the only one who thinks Ramirez, if we get him is a massive gamble for £12m. I mean it's a lot of dough for a player who is untried in the premiership. I know it shows our ambition but would it not have been better to go for someone like Johnson or Jarvis?
If we do manage to sign, then I really do hope I'm wrong and he hits the ground running.
I don't pretend to be a wannabe football manager and our Nige knows more than I ever will and must see something in him but its a huge fee.
As for Matty Phillips, I don't think we'll get him either. Holloway seems to be digging his heels in on this one and if he thinks we have tapped Phillips up, regardless if we have or haven't, Blackpool simply won't sell him to us.
But please Saints, sign someone with pace.

I read a artical online and it seemed as though its oyston not hollaway not that hollaway wanted him to go and not that im a fan of his just heads up on wot i read might even be rubish

Ramirez is a gamble, but a calculated one, a world class player is going for 20mil plus huge wages. This player has been touted as a future star and is now at 21 maturing into his best years. We need this type of player who shows real class on the ball. Speed is not the answer. Walcot has demonstrated this, until he learned how to beat a man consistantly, retain the ball! he speed was only a minor weapon (I think he has gotten to be a much better overall player the last 2 years, and would love to have him back at saints), but still not a dribbler extrodinare! We need composure on the ball, that is the suttlest most deadly type of player that is saught out by the best teams. Find us the next messi/ronaldo/inesta/xavi!!Blackpool have narrowly missed out on getting to the prem. Holloway will try to keep his best player tooth and nail, they are sooooo close to getting back up (we wouldnt sell if we were in the same predicament). Jarvis (good player)is going to WH for 11mil and he lacks that composure on the ball!!!! Keep searching for the young "special ones" Saints scouts, they are the future road to the champions league without having to buy it like the mega clubs.

Ok look im probably guna get some stick for this but i really dont understand why guly gets so much game time i mean yeh fair play to him he had the graveyard shift against city chasing the ball but hes got no pace i personally wouldnt of taken j rod off i would have left him n punch playing off rickie so come on what do you think ?

joe

Believable6 Unbelievable4

For me the jury's out on Guly, Sharp, Lee, Hammond, Chaplow, Puncheon, De Ridder, Seabourne, Fox and Kelvin Davis to prove that they are capable at this level.

Agree5 Disagree3

I agree, on his day he can be a useful player but only performs about 1 in 5 games, which is not good enough. Fox isn't good enough in my opinion as well. Hammond is too slow for the prem, seabourne is not good enough and Kelvin deserves his chance

Agree1 Disagree0

Guly well out of his depth in PL. No pace gives the ball away and when he does track back tends to just foul players .puncheon should not be wearing the shirt.Saints to win tomorrow
Doggy.

Agree1 Disagree1

You havent even seen guly in the premier league yet let him have a season in premier league before you all slag him off have faith in our players

Agree2 Disagree2

No your right i havent seen him in the premier league but i saw him all last year in the championship and for me thats as high a league hes suited to i mean dont get me wrong id love for him to prove me wrong but i just dont think hes cut out for the premier league

joe

Agree0 Disagree0

Kept a eye on guly at game today put one good cross in , still giving the ball away and chasing shadows when defending .thought today showed us how tough it will be picking up points in PL.
Doggy.
