I'm a Liverpool fan and would just like to make a comment about Coutinho. I think he looks like a bit of a risk but his potential his immense, I hope we sign him. If you guys get him then congrats, with him Ramirez and Lallana you guys would have a lot of creativity. Even if you outbid us it's still nice to see the level of ambition your club is showing. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Cheers man, as many narrow minded of our fans tend to say hastey things about your club, I would like to say that I have a lot of respect for Liverpool. you have already put 4-3-3 youth plan to use and conquered it. hopefully between Southampton and Liverpool we may be able to win a World Cup as we show intent on bringing our youth through the ranks.
Good luck with try to get a Champions League spot, will be a great day when you get back between the manchester clubs along with Chelsea, might finally keep them quiet.
Never really had a bad thing to say about Liverpool. Always found the fans to be friendly and never known them to be a team that takes the mickey unlike certain others.
Cheers for the message fella. I think both clubs are confused about what's happening. If he says he would rather play for you. Then all power to him and you. Can't say I blame him.

Nobody that posts on here has the slightest clue what Coutinho really thinks. All I would say is that he is young talented and will go and play for the team he thinks will give him the opportunities he wants. All about selling yourself to him, unfortunately, we, Southampton are not a household name in Brazil but hopefully our chairman and very likeable new manager can do a job on him. NC did it with Gaston so why not.
Southampton fc are well known in Brazil. We taught the Brazillians what football was and how to play it. Fact. Think the chaps name was Charlles Miller, someone else can probably correct mean the name.

However I still think if you did a survey in the high street in Rio most people would have heard of Man Utd Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool etc before our beloved Saints. Maybe in 2 years time we could be included in that list. Keep faith in Cortese though he'll get someone in this window.
