I don't think we should sign anymore players this summer, as our squad already looks quality, and the places where we have less depth can be covered by our youth academy stars, as for on the wings let Isgrove or Rowe cover that position rather than bringing in another player, I think it would leave room for another star to come through and would leave more money for the January window when it comes

I'm with you on this. We have adequate cover and the new signings will only get better and improve as they bed into the team. Our first 11 now looks strong enough to challenge for a top 8/10 position which is realistically where we need to be this year (we still though have an outside chance of Europe in the league but will be a big ask) let's see where we are in a few months and strengthen if needed.

Rickie Lambert named in England squad. Luke Shaw and James Ward-Prowse named in England u21 squad. Plethora of other Southampton players called up by their respective nations, including Ramirez and Maya.

Dont forget Callum Chambers in the U19S

Do you think Gaston and Osvaldo will play tonight?
I wish they would as it looks to me like they could form a good partnership given some playing time together.
I also think Osvaldo could do with the game time as he was so pumped on Saturday I doubt if he could have lasted 90min without getting sent off, class act though.

Not a chance. Reserves + U21 will be involved tonight.

Osvaldo, Cork, Clyne, Davis, JWP, Mayuka, Ramirez, Isgrove, Targett, Maya and Rodriguez set to feature tonight.

I think you will find that Poch wants to go for trophies this season unlike Adkins who didn't seem to care about a cup run. Jack Cork, Steven Davis etc will all be involved as they have not had much game time. You're seriously deluded if you think it will be a reserve and u21 squad.

I Reckon we'll go with players needing game time who haven't played a full 90 minutes yet

We won't be going with reserves and under 21's I hope as we have 23 good players and they need 60-90 minutes under there belt

Think mayuka will be given 45 mins up top with Omar Rowe down the left.

There is speculation than Omar Rowe could be in the squad tonight as he was left out of our under 21's team at Reading the this weekend. The clubs own website says that there were people left out because they could be in contention for tonights game.
Rowe and Isgrove were the obvious ones left out.

The under 21's played yesterday so they won't play again today.

I think saint IQ has got it right. If not then the managers got it wrong.

Davies is set to start in goal. Targett in contention for LB as Shaw has a knock. Schneiderlin, Lallana, Rodriguez and Lambert to be rested.
