Just like to clarify guly played with number ten on saturday but he now does not have a squad number a new striker signing is imminant but i beleive it is not maynard n is of foreign origin to the knowledge of my source and said all saints fans will be pleased .
If the new striker is foreign your source says that all Saints fans will be pleased, then i would say its probably the return of Papa Waigo N'Dye. . .i will certainly be pleased if it is
Don't rate Waigo that highly at all. I wouldn't be interested in signing any ex-saints of the last 4 years aside from maybe Antonio for back-up (and Bale which would be impossible). We've got to think bigger and better. De Ridder was excellent tonight. . very exciting. Cork is very assured and a solid Championship player. I can see us in the top 10 at least.

Just to clarify Guly IS STILL NUMBER 10. The same thing has happened to Chaplow, but think its unlikely that they have removed his number (18) and saved it for a new signing :/

Nigel Adkins has said that there will be another addition or maybe even two. No names, and the way he hinted, it isn't likely to be a striker as he said 'we have great attacking options' take from it what you will, it is on the official saints website.

Reports in Italy suggest that Southampton are close to finalising a deal with Fiorentina for Serbian left-back, Nikola Gulan. It is believed that Gulan will arrive at St Marys on a season long loan deal with a view to sign permanently at the end of the season.
