I know it may not be true or happen but Clarence Seedorf is out of contract at AC Milan and would be amazing to see him at Southampton

with regards to the post about swansea and cardiff being too good for welsh teams i agree. However uefa and fifa dont allow cross border intergrationswansea and cardiff joined the english league many years ago and to be honest if celtic or rangers got the money that a diddy team like yous are getting they would both be top six sides

Southampton aren't going to do anything in the premiership except fight the relegation battle. Southampton are nothing more than a mediocre championship side (punched WAY above your weight last season, not forgetting the complete fluke results), & when u go back to the championship first time (& you will), be interesting to see how many players on "proper" premiership wages will be sold. I think the top brass at Southampton should be very careful who they sign, after all your not that long out of administration.

Were the 5th richest club in the country.. so money wont be an issue. if portsmouth fans think they can abuse our wonderful club, then have fun coz we are premier leauge.. yeah were 2nd favorites for the drop. but we will spent the money to stay up.. ild be happy to finish 17th and survive by a point.. as long as we stay there and build every season and sensibly, not like portsmouth did, spend spend spend spend...

Agree8 Disagree2

Just gose to show how jealous the skates are there nothing more than a little club in southsea

We had some luck last season, every team does through the course of a season. Fact is, we battered most teams and on balance should have got more points than we did.

Laughable to say we were lucky to go up, we were BY FAR the best footballing side in the league. Ridiculous to say we'll definitely go down bla bla bla. Wishful thinking. If you said before last season we definitely wont get promoted, that's plausible, but we beat the odds. This season odds are in our favour. A big club, strong fan base, excellent and ambitious board and manager, great academy and facilities and more crucially, there are several teams that are likely to finish below saints.

Jealousy will get you nowhere. Do me a favour, go and bet your caravan on us going down. Then you'll be homeless as well as brainless.

Why do muppets go on about administration? We were shafted by one man sucking the life out of the club. He's gone now and we have cleared our debts in full. We have a great board and Southampton FC is now one of the richest clubs in the world. So don't worry your little brain about us darling. We'll be just fine whatever happens this season. But thanks for your educated comment.
