Wayne Bridge left saints for Chelsea and always stated he wanted to return to the south coast to end his career. His partner is expecting a baby and his family are still in Winchester. He is avaliable in a free. ? I'd love to see him back, particularly if we do lose Shaw (which as much as everyone says he won't leave is still a possibility) thorts?!

How many times do Pochettino and Shaw have to tell you he's staying for you to believe them? But I would like Bridge back as he's a far better player than Fox and on a free transfer he'd be easily worth it.

Are you joking? Its questionable whether he is even championship standard, he was extremely average for Brighton last season.

Also Southampton wouldn't be interested in anyone in that age bracket, with the exception of a someone who is world class (I. e. when we were rumoured with Del Piero at the start of the season). and bridge is certainly not world class i'm afraid.

I'd like this, he'd play his heart out for us, be a good role modal for shaw and for free, be a good signing I think.

I would be happy if this happens he probably wouldn't mind sitting on the bench

Guly says he's ready for next season and wants more games. So does Fox. I say they can bog off back to league 1 - then we all be happy

We've got a thin enough squad as it is, without you striking players off with your unqualified opinion of them.

Guly can stay, not the worst player to have as a reserve, would 100% want to replace Fox though.

Guly is a good player, he will scored 20 goals next season! In all seriousness he played very well against spurs, very good passer of the ball, he works very hard every time I've seen him play this season and will be a useful squad player in case we get 2 or 3 injury's in Attacking midfield and who knows once he gets one goal they might start flying in from all angles! I just want us to get rid of Fox and Hooiveld as they cost us many many goals and points last season and are not prem standard. Plus they both ruin our ability to pass out from the back as they are uncomfortable on the ball and aimlessly hoof too often. Said that about Hooiveld in Pre season last year but loads of people disagreed!

He's not that bad, I mean not first team standard but he is actually a fair bit better than some of our reserve players like De Ridder. Granted he is a forward though who scored more in our net than in an oppositions goal this season so wouldn't be anything close to a disaster to lose him.

Oh I understand, he put an amazing shift in against stoke, but he's missed two open goals this season, me, a 14 year old could have done better than that

he's really not that bad and has been ok this season
