If anybody can inform me for why wanyama is getting stick for thr chelsea game then please do so. Was just as good as morgan.

Haters goda hate someone, who else they going to pick on? I don't think players enjoy playing against him either.
When he picks up this yellow card we will have a chance to look at what they are all wishing for.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wanyama made some very poor passes in the first 10 minutes (and we were winning). One header, the ball just bounced off his head, absolutely no attempt to guide it in any direction other than forward despite having time. He stood like a statue for a large part of the game whilst others all around him were running. On a few occasions I saw other saints players run into him. His movement was non existent. I honestly don't know if he can run.
Seriously I have watched or been to only half Saints games this season and I know Poch must like him but I can't see why?
He's a big lump and that's it.
Pressing game? He just stands there and hopes people run into him. I honestly don't get him. Really I dont

Agree0 Disagree0

Wanyama sits in front of the defence, and does extremly well at it. The amount of opposition play he breaks up is amazing. I agree his ball distribution is awful, but at protecting the defence he is amazing. It seems to me that he tries to make every pass seem over elaborate, rather than taking the simple route, which if he can change, he could be a very valuable asset.

Agree0 Disagree0

Really can't understand the confusion re. Victor. He does his role well-to beak up play and if he keeps his distribution simple he is very effective. It really is not rocket science, I have heard under 11 coaches telling new defensive players when they join a team of established, quality players "your job is to win the ball and then pass it simply. " If they stick to this initially, they integrate quickly into the team. If the adrenalin gets to them they get a bit over ambitious and make mistakes and the coach has to calm them down and remind them what their responsibility is. Just because Victor is professional and cost a few quid I don't believe this changes the reality of a young, inexperienced player integrating into a quality team and a league way above what he is used to.

Saint Martin

Agree0 Disagree0

1)He has the second highest number for completed passes in the squad just behind Morgan who is exceptional after all.

2)If you attempt more passes than anyone else in the team you will prob have more passes going astray than most other players.

3)His job is not to run around like a wing back his job is to protect the back four and also let Morgan attack, he is a CDM and there to break up the other teams play. His job is to not be found too far out of his position at any time.

4)He is new to the BPL and he is young.

5)He has made more successful tackles in the middle third of the pitch than any other player in Europes top 5 leagues.

6)If you look at the job he is being asked to do by MoPo (CDM) there is no one better at doing it in our squad except 'perhaps' Morgan and we can't clone him.

7)I think he has simplified his passing and he is getting better and better.

8)There is no question that he has contributed towards our defensive record, and was one of many reasons Chelski resorted to the long ball tactics.

9)If you are expecting him to play any role other than a CDM I can see why you think he is not good enough, but we play with a CDM and he is the best player we have for that role and that is just some of what MoPo sees in him.

Agree0 Disagree0

To all the people that say he can't run, I remember when we played fulham, and the corner was cleared and on the counter-attack, victor was in the striker position bombing down there.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a donkey, his movement is atrocious, pathetic, non existent.
No point writing loads of tosh about shielding the defence he's just a big lump. Chelsea just run past him.
His positional sense ridiculous.

Agree0 Disagree0

He ran against Fulham, the oldest, slowest team/squad in the league. My grandma is quicker than Fulham's team.
I know let's make lots of reasons why we think Victor is brilliant, like he breaks up play so we don't need to worry about his passing, lack of movement, awareness, clumsiness in tackling. He can't tackle cleanly!
Mark my words he's going to be a problem as the season goes on.
Poch loves him, that's clear but fast skilful players will just run around the big lump.
Mark my words.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've heard a rumour that we're thinking of swapping Victor for a sleeping policeman.
They slow things down, give away less fouls and their passing and movement can't be any worse than Vic's

Agree0 Disagree0

Perhaps it would be better if we went bankrupt again, and had to sell all our players like Gaston, Osvaldo, Boruc, Wanyama, etc etc.

We would finally have no more primadona's, and could fill the side with whatever players we could beg borrow or steal.

Agree0 Disagree0

He can't be that bad if he is keeping jack out of the squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

What's bankruptcy got to do with Wanyama being a statue?
More excuses, wonder what's next?
The moon was aligned with Venus so Vic's radar was off, or his boots were made of the wrong type of leather, or his pasta was too cold before the game, but he's improving with every game. No he isn't!

Agree0 Disagree0

How come we´re doing so well then?

Agree0 Disagree0

10 other players on the pitch?

Agree0 Disagree0

The Wanyama slagger has got to be a fishing troll here on a wind up.

Best ignored by all.
