Well, that was embarrassing! About as bad as I've seen us play all season and about on par with our first games at the beginning of the Premiership

Shoot me down if you will, but sadly, with the return of Fonte and Lallana together, we seem to have forgotten how to play attacking 'Pochettino style' football!

Pull your socks up lads, it's ok having the teams around us fail and that's one game less for them to catch us - but this is as much to do with our entertainment as anythng and today wasn't entertaining.

Why did Fox run to goal instead of closing down Remy. Virtually every time he plays, he costs us. QPR were bad but with 67% possession, we created next to nothing. Worst performance this season. We were as inept with the ball against Wigan at home, but at least they know how to play football.

Disgraceful performance all round but can someone tell me if they rate Gaston, because to me he seems to be a bit of a headless chicken most of the time. Maybe its playing him and Adz together that doesn't work? Nice finish yesterday but something isn't right. Is it wrong position, still settling into Prem, crap or what?
ps I hope that goon Fox is out for the rest of the season.

Ridiculous. Defensive let down today. I'm all up for supporting my team but there is no amount of positive spin you can put on losing to a side who have only won twice all season at home. When everyone looked at our fixture list for the end of the season, this was one we all looked at and said "3 points, 1 at the very least. " We can't be losing games like this and we absolutely cannot be dropping form at this point. This is the crucial point of the season, the do or die moments and we absolutely cannot afford any more defeats at home. The only things I would ask at the moment; Where is Forren? I mean it doesn't take anyone this long to get into fitness. Why has Shaw suddenly been relegated to the subs bench? He has been in exceptional form all season and Fox has been in no form at all and nothing short of a liability and an identified weakness. What has happened to Mayuka? Seriously on this one, why is he not even appearing on the bench anymore. We've all seen him for Young Boys and Zambia, has he suddenly become terrible in the last few months?

I know we have to get behind the lads, but after a result like this one we really do need to ask a few questions. Support the team no doubt, but this sort of result is absolutely unacceptable.

Do not forget QPR beat Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford bridge.

That result was total fluke. Today was lucky for them but more us having an absolute shocker

Totally agree with TJ's post. We have other options in the squad which are not used, and as for Fox I've been patient enough but liability is putting it mildly, he looks so out of depth.
I think the tactics were all wrong for the QPR game, should have gone with a 4-4-2 and kept the back 4 in line together. Tough game at Carrow Road next, they have played well at home and following this performance I can see a point at best. WillsaSaint

I agree with most of what you said TJ, but would just like to say that Luke Shaw was relegated to the subs bench as he sustained a knock in the previous game (Newcastle away) and wasn't fully fit for the QPR game so Danny Fox had to come in (completely agree about Fox).

Emmanuel Mayuka was given a chance at Aston Villa I believe and although he has noticeable pace (which you could argue that we need in attack sometimes to accompany Lambert), he didn't impress me with his poor control and balance. I also watched all three of the Zambia games (he was on the bench for the first one though, probably due to lack of match experience with us) where all he managed to impress me with was winning a penalty for the team, which was soft to say the least. He seems to me to be another Steve De Ridder signing, decent cover but not worthy of a starting eleven berth.

Finally, about Vegard Forren, I reckon he probably won't get a chance this season unless we suffer another injury in centre-back, and if he impresses in pre-season I believe he will be in the starting-eleven for next season. You could also argue that he may be fit, but might not have the quick adaptability that we would need from him, as he only played for Molde in the Norwegian League, so it would seem difficult to be thrown in the deep end of the Barclays Premier League to say the least with his previous experience in his career. You could say the same for Gaston Ramirez, who seems to have taken a while to adapt as he has only shown his brilliance in flashes, and for £12 million has not warranted his price tag just yet, but I'm sure we will see the best of him next season after he has adapted and got all these games under his belt.

Wow we just lost to possibly the worst run club in the country and bottom team in the league, guess we had to have a bit of bad form at some point, hopefully it doesn't last to long and we can kick on at Norwich, QPR only had 3 shots on target today and scored 2, and we were equally unlucky against Newcastle COYR!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Like the positive attitiude because I believe we are much better than the likes of QPR, Reading, Wgan and Villa.

Agree3 Disagree1

We are a lot better than these teams and have the ability to beat some of the bigger clubs e. g. the Man City result, but we're inconsistant, if we became consistant we really could be challenging for europe next year!
