I know I might take a bit of flak for this, but I'm just going to say it.
As much as I despise them I want Portsmouth to get promoted. Many times and quickly. I want them to be in the premiership.
I hate the fact that at the moment we barely have any rivalry games. There aren't many games in the season to get really excited about other then the big games. Maybe Brighton pull through the play offs this year but that isn't the same.
The banter between us and other clubs is quite irrelevant; it's about whether or not they'll sign our players or if we play better football. There's no natural synergy between us and any other EPL clubs in this sense. It's a bit dull.
Don't get me wrong, when they're in the EPL I want them to suffer. Y'know, finishing 16th-17th every year and achieving nothing, always losing their manager and players. Just existing for us to smash twice a year.
Unfortunately I don't think they'll get promoted any time soon. In fact it's more likely the complete opposite. So on that note they may as well just collapse completely and drop out of the leagues. Fail properly. I'm not a 'middle ground' kind of guy.
Totally agree I hate pompey too but its so much fun at those games and loved billy sharps celebration at sms

Dont ever want to see them disgraceful cheats back in the best league in the world to be perfectly honest but would love to draw them in one of the cups. It felt like being shot when that skate norris struck it in the bottom corner can't believe we couldn't beat them that season!
