Adam Lallana to Man Utd.

SAF has kept his cards close to his chest regarding Saints latest wonderkid. Having scouted him for a couple of years now, he's about to make a move for an English player he feels is the closest long term prospect of filling the Paul Scholes slot.
Lallana who overcame a serious injury last year, has come back into the Southampton team and been the catalyst for their rise to the top of the Championship.
Lallana has been capped at every youth level for England and a senior call up is on the cards with Saints looking more than likely to gain promotion to the Premiership, and Fergie knows that to wait until the summer will see Lallana's value rise.
United want to pay around £5 million, but Saints are holding out for double that, and tentative discussions have been opened to see if a deal can be reached.*****

We hold out and get £15m for Oxo who is just a diamond in the rough, but we'll sell our biggest talent for £10m. I don't think so somehow. Besides, we only let Oxo go because he kicked up a fuss. Lallana is commited.

As good as Lallana is and will be, he's no Scholes.

I'm concerned how much effort you put into that ridiculous post. I think you need help.

Nah, for a start I'd have cork in there and the 3 up front sounds b@llcks were doing pretty well with the current formation with Chaplow out wide and just replace Guly with lee

Lee will need to prove himself from the bench. Jury's out on Guly, Hammond, Schneiderlin and De Ridder. Good, but are they good enough to do a job in the Premiership?

I think the question is 'Are they good enough to help us push for a promotion spot' I'm desperate to see us go up don't get me wrong but I think we're have to do it through the play offs.

Although Saints have had a somewhat indifferent patch, they are still top of the league, so i would take a poor run of form now and still be top of the table. It wont be long untill thay snap out of it. Come on the Saints.. Few good signings should see us past the post.

Agree,be interesting to see who we get in.
