Not much seems to be happening in the way of signings at Southampton, have NA and NC been trying to get anyone in at all cause it doesn't seem like it? I mean their hasn't been any sightings and no news of deals being offered or contract talks. Really concerned about the lack of news.

It just means the club and staff can keep thier mouthes shut. NA constantly says the club does a lot behind closed doors keep the faith

In my opinion, I think signing Scott Dann would be a good move for Saints - yes he had a bad season at Blackburn but they are a club on the down and have no stability whatsoever and the managment is extremely poor.
He had a brilliant first season at Birmingham in 2009/10 building a solid partnership with Roger Johnson, in 2010/11 it was a different story with the stability at the the club insecure (like Blackburn) because of their owner Carson Yeung.
Joining the Saints would be good for both parties - He would be joining a club in a very secure condition and have serious ambition for the future - the benefit for Saints would be that they are buying a player that has PL experience and joining the set up on the South Coast would help him get back to his previous best and further improve him from that torrid season at Rovers, he wasn't to blame for their relegation - he is a good player playing in a very poor team.
I think this would be a good signing and I hope it happens, but the price tag is the only snag I have with the player.
Come on Saints, buy him.

The main reason most people don't want him to sign about the relegation fears is a poor one I'll admit that but he's really unfortunately not worth the price tag Blackburn expect to receive for him and for that reason we should look elsewhere.

Couldn't agree more, yes the price tag is the only problem in my opinion and he will fulfill his potential by moving to saints COYR!!

People forget after that 09/10 season he was being scouted by the top four! One of those players that will be a steal if Adkins can get his confidence back? (which he will) he will be a great addition to our squad and anyone else's for that matter too. Sign him up.

Unless Blackburn significantly lower the demanded price then keep clear of this kid, worth nothing like his suggested fee, worth 3 million at the absolute most.
