Saints have just over 22 days to sign 2 centre backs, a left back, a winger and possibly an experienced goalkeeper, it has taken us just over 2 and a half months to make 4 signings, west ham and reading are virtually finished with their transfer business, come on saints sort it out !!!

Reading announced they are finished with their dealings.

West ham have had a terrible transfer window saints' is comparatively good looking the west ham transfer rumours if you want to see panic

Wow you lot are clearly fake fans that have only supported Saints since we have gone up, who cares who West Ham and Reading have signed, stop worrying! We have an amazing team at the moment, look at Wigan, Wolves, Fulham, Aston Villa, Swansea, West Brom, QPR, Stoke, West Ham, Reading and Sunderlands starting 11, and player to player we are better than these teams. Don't sweat it!

Signing need to be made soon or we are going to end up paying inflated prices near the end of the window for players which wouldnt have been first choice; or if adkins sticks to his style we wont sign anyone at all because it takes so flipping long for them to choose bid and sort everything out. I have faith in our management and i think adkins is a great manager but im really starting to worry/get annoyed at our daft and slow transfer policy!

I agree, it is so goddam frustrating :E just hope he brings in some quality or he will be under pressure big time !

I think youve posted what a lot of fans are thinking. Its looking a bit dire , lots of speculation with no end results. Michu 2 million ???????

Slow transfer policy? you're a bit impatient. i would much rather have the right signings than a signing right now

I think they and the rest of us are frustrated cause we should've known who we needed ages ago and started our dealings just as long ago.

Bit of an unusual rumour but heard that cause of Portsmouth's troubles Southampton may be sending them Calum Chambers, Ben Reeves and Jack Stephens on loan for a season to help make up the numbers for the club. As part of the deal Southampton will continue to pay the wages for the players but are hoping to get them main team experience.

Hope this is not true,would rather they got there selves out of trouble as they got theres selves into trouble.why would we want to help the skates out what have they done for soton fc nothing so rot in hell pompey. birdynumnums sfc

No way, purely for the fact that Southampton need home grown players to be selected in their 25 man squad, good try though
