when's that signing happening today then? As everyone said it I thought it maybe true. has anyone got a decent source saying we're close to signing anyone? Have you heard anything ed?

The supposed theory was it'd be announced on Monday or Tuesday having been signed on Saturday. Doubt it's true but hey ho.

There's apparently a press conference been called this coming thursday.

Speaking to a journalist who covers southampton for a national paper, has said tjere is no pressers arranged this week tjat he knows off, but he is in isreal covering euro u 21

I'm trying to get conformation of this apparent presser later this week. As soon as I have a yea or ney I'll let you know.

One thing is for sure - I don't know what to do with myself at the weekends since the season finished, and the lack of concrete news is killing me!

Spoken to a couple of Journo's on Twitter that cover Saints. Neither of them know anything about a press conference.
So looks to be rubbish

And besides, most players aren't revealed at press conferences anyway.

Lukaku staying at CFC - trying to separate fact from fiction here.

No idea what is actually going on with him but seems to be he'll be part of Mourinho's plans for the next season (according to the article on the tv website).

Mourinho said he'd have a chat with him but hoped he could be part of future plans.

Nothing conclusive to be honest. Basically acknowledged his talent but said there was a discussion to be had about his future in some respect.

What a load of Bulls***. Shaw is not going to be leaving Southampton this summer, how many times do people have to tell you this. Also I doubt we're in for Ba.

The "talk" would seem to be pretty strange! Don't think anyone would seriously expect Ba, with his injury problems, to cope with MPs style of play-and that will not be sacrificed to accommodate him.

Gaston staying good thing or a bad thing?

Extremely good, shows signs of brilliance, had a tough first season and can frustrate fans but you can see his potential. Next season I think/I hope he will show everyone why he is regarded as one of the top young talents in the world. Great to see him come out and say he wants to stay and not leave everyone wondering as well.
