Just watched the latest episode of The March and at the end Koeman and Reed emphasise that the target for this campaign is some silverware as a means of getting another shot at the Europa League.

With better squad depth now in place it would seem like this season could be a great opportunity in making this happen, what's everyone's thoughts?

I hated the cup runs last season, we didn't have the squad for it and picked up needless injuries and fatigue when imo we had a real shot at the top 4.

I'd like to see a decent run in the cups this season though, we've got enough players now where we can switch every player and still have a side that's capable of beating decent championship teams, whilst not sacrificing any league form

Does RK Have some problem with South American players?
Since he has arrived I haven't seen SAINTS been expeculated with a Brazilian or an argentinean.

When it comes to signing players Saints will not pay any attention to their national background unless, in a rare case, it's specifically to fulfill the homegrown quota. I mean, we have players of around 15 different nations this season.
I'm sorry but I find your question (and a hint of assumption there) a bit ludicrous and irrational. Koeman also hasn't sign a player from asia so does that mean he has a problem with Asian footballers? No, because he's not reluctant to play Yoshida.
And if it means anything, Koeman is willing to play Gazzaniga in goal when necessary, giving him chanced during friendlies. And I'm pretty sure he's South American.
