Personally I think we might have missed a trick with lescott. Must if taken a wage cut to sign for WBA.
1.) No we didn't.
2.) Yes we did. £100k per week for 2 years is. C£10m. that's total. Same as paying £5m for a player and giving him £50k a week for 2 years. He's good enough and we should have signed him. Slipped through the net. He would have been good for saints.
3.) Lescott is good but wouldn't put Fonte on the bench!
4.) 100k a week is double what our highest earners are on, nearer triple what Schneiderlin, Cork, Lovren etc are on - is potentially upsetting them worth it for a 32 year old who's no better than what we've got on the bench? Especially when we've been linked to younger, better players with bags more potential, who will want much less in wages
plus there's the FFP - can the club afford to pay that much in wages? and now the ffp won't allow wages to increase more than 4 miilion per year if they're already over 52million per year
5.) Coyr give fonte and cork new deals and keep them, have they been offered one yet ED?

7.) I think the current stance is wait until after the world cup before deals are concluded. I agree we certainty need Cork, he was ace last season. Fonte, depends on who else (better/improvement) we would be able to bring in. I'm not sure he would settle for being cover after last season. Happy days, I'm a great deal more optimistic since Koeman was appointed

8.) I believe they are likely to be offered new deals but they may seek to move on if they aren't given guarantees they will play regularly.
9.) Hope they are offered new deals soon with jay rod and then we keep our players and sign 5 decent ones inc 2 strikers. Coyr sort it. Make a decent squad and let's push on and give Rowe some game time
10.) Southampton can't afford but more importantly don't want to pay £100k a week

As I say if I could link the pic I would but its in a text. There is a group on Facebook I'm a member of called saints fans forum. Join that if you wish and I will work out how to post it up to there.

Can you actually fly from Heathrow to Eastleigh? Would only take 10 minutes
How can someone disagree with him being in America. He was on the bench for inter.

Both are good keepers just personally I would take forster.
Can't remember ever seeing Marshall keep Barcelona at bay. Forster has grown as a player since moving from Newcastle where he never really played.
Arsenal are quite often loaning players to other teams in the prem. and we are hardly a rival to them.
Then it's a good job you are not in charge St John. Loan deals are how a lot of smaller teams operate to survive. Without them you would have teams locking there gates forever. Also it's a great way for younger players to get the much needed experience.
Sorry to be a downer mate but I'm hearing j rod and spider are close to joining spuds
