Cortese - Much relieved and THE signing of the century. Can we all now please get back to rumours of a 100,000 seater stadium, signing players on £250K per week, winning the Prem next season followed by Champions league glory. Btw, who started all the rumours about Cortese? He deserves a good slap!
1.) £250k a week is far too much for us to be spending on wages for one player. We should be responsible. Keeping Cortese is good but don't go mad.

Well said St Peter and the only one above prepared to back up his opinion by giving a name. Respect. What's really embarrassing is the ignorant, opinionated no names on here spouting factless, conspiracy theories. Yes, it is true, Poch stated clearly in the summer that Gaston was staying. Btw, all contributors to this site are ignorant to some extent. If your so bloody knowledgeable then how much was the cap?
The contributor above who starts 'I honestly do not know. ' is bang on. Can't believe the whinging going on here. Poch has more knowledge and experience of the game and our players than the lot of you put together. Come on you whining nellies, put you names where your mouths are. Oh and since when has every team outside the top 6 including West Brom and Swansea become a poor side? You also forget that we've already beaten Chelsea and City this year and Liverpool TWICE.
'Cos as saintsfan25 said we 'need squad depth'. We don't need to 'cash in' if Poch thinks we need strengthening.

Welcome back Clarkey. Agree St Christopher but surely we won't turn up the opportunity of a 'steal' like Davis.
It doesn't really clear things up e. g. is Gaston ok now or should we still 'cash-in' and buy the 'flavour of the month' from the Championship? I'm not aware of any evidence that Ossie doesn't want to be in England but, personally, i'd rather not be in floody England atm.
Why is it shocking? If all the other rumours are true then he won't have a squad left to manage by then.

Er. I watched a 7 goal FA Cup thriller today in which all three of our English senior Lions scored (or am I breathing the same air as Jesus?).
