With adidas and Southampton terminating their kit contract, anyone have any news regarding a new supplier?

1.) Yes, it is Veho. Was in paper a few days ago.

2.) As the papers have sold the whole team we don't need one! And our perilous financial state means we will play in "skins" if we can get a team together.

3.) LOL Psyco Saint! Veho is the main shirt sponsor, they are into gadgets, mainly bluetooth speakers and they don't make football kits.

Obviously adidas will not be making our new kit for next season so I suspect it maybe some one like Nike

4.) Oops, sorry, thought he meant sponsers! I thought he put Adidas instead of AAP!

5.) Ed have u heard who are new kit manufacturer is?

6.) Adidas decided to withdraw after shirt sales were much lower than expected in the early stages of this season. Southampton have been speaking to a few different potential new suppliers to take over with Umbro looking most likely, but a lot is left to be discussed due to the late cancellation of the old deal.

7.) Not sure where some of you are getting information from. Have on decent authority that the decision to discontinue was Corteses and that he had good reason to do so. This was decided in December but there have been positive adidas talks in the last few months but not in time for this season. Understand the kit maker this year will be known but not a big big name

8.) Maybe if they made red and white striped shirts then they would sold more. How does everybody know that Adidas have pulled the plug? cheers

9.) Just saw it on offically site, heard the new kit will be done by Puma

10.) The reason Cortese and Adidas fell out was due to them bringing out a winter training kit. He was against this as he felt it was unnecessary and was just another way to take fans money so once they did this he cancelled the contract. Obviously the club opened fresh talks with them once he'd left but weren't able to fix the problem for this year. Expect a small company to produce a simple kit this season with Adidas back for the following season.

According to the daily blar Man City want either Jay Rod or JWP to replace the outgoing Milner, and Newcastle are hoping to replace Pardew with Ronald Koeman.

Good luck to both of the clubs if you ask me, but try looking somewhere sensible

Not a rumour but what do people think of the new kit? Personally I am a big fan, can't wait to put it on!

1.) I love it, think it's great! Did anyone see the Daily Echo's 10 worst Saints kits? As it had last season's homekit and the season before that both kits, which I personally quite liked

2.) ^ hated the gold last season, reckon if it'd been white it would have been one of the nicest kits around, this seasons blows it away though

3.) Love the new kit and purely from a fashion perspective those stripes will hide any flabby bellies!

Hi Ed, is there any interest from us in WBAs Saido Berahino? Could be someone to grow with the squad alongside Sam Gallagher. Heard he is unhappy in the Midlands

{Ed007's Note - Most people in the Midlands are unhappy, Deano, and no wonder! There doesn't appear to be any Southampton interest but he is a decent young player from what little I have seen of him.}
