Richard Chaplow to return to burnley in part exchange for Kieran trippier is the rumour I've heard going around.

Chaplow for Trippier straight swap may actually be sort of fair, Trippier has some developing to do and Burnley must be aware he's not going to be staying that much longer and Chaplow would be a great signing for them.
If you think trippier for chaplow as a straite swap is fair you need your head examined! Chaplow is a Average CM at best. and trippier has plenty of time to improve.

Chaplow was very good for us in the Championship. I am not a Burnley fan but I have seen a few of their games and yes Trippier is a good Right back and probably would make it in the top flight.

Yes competition is a good thing but what I meant was for a young player to reach his potential he'll have to play regularly and hence one will be wasted if we sign another young RB, I think it would be better to sign someone with more experience who Clyne can not only learn from but be in competition with too
