Don't be silly puncheon will not move to Everton to sit on the bench when he is playing first team football regularly. No way will jay rod go out on loan with Mayuka gone to the play for Zambia.

In my opinion we really need Astori as soon as possible. We beat Villa but were lucky, and Jos still didn't have the greatest of games. As we go into games against Chelsea and United away, we need to try and preserve our goal difference and make us hard to beat. If Fonte is out, we need an Astori figure who can come straight in.

Not sure were you hered bout ricy wolfenskiel but why when we have lambert and rodriguez as coer both atm playing well astori should happen before chelsea if puncheon gos adkins will have to spend alot to replace him

I hope these Astori posts are true as we need him! looking into Douglas and he has numerous teams who own a share of him and I would rather stay away from this what with the trouble we had on Ramirez.

I'll tell you: because he is out of contract in the summer and has no intention of signing a new deal. Better to cash in on the player than to let him leave for free
Its not better not to cash in. I'd rather keep him for the season and let him leave for free. He is worth losing cash on seeing as how awesome he has been for us so far this season.

The van Wolfswinkel deal sounds like exactly the sort of deal we would do. Young, international player and highly sort after. We need a proper striker and RvW is prolific. £10m is about our bracket too based on other signings.

With regard to Puncheon, my understanding was that we had an option of a 1 year contract extension. Anyone know any different?
