Southend have made an offer for Lee Barnard as he appears to no longer be in saints first team plans.

Agree, get rid of Barnard, make room for another signing!

Southend can not afford to buy Barnard. He has just been cleared of his assault charges and signed a new contract in September. Don't get me wrong he hasn't played a huge role this year but has had injuries and he might be loaned out but not sold.
