Southampton Football Club, based in England's Championship, are to make a surprise move for recently relegated Monaco striker Frédéric Nimani. Nimani has previously had a spell at Burnley FC when they were in the Premier League, and Saints manager Nigel Adkins has viewed Nimani on two trips to Monaco. Nimani will be signed on loan with a view to buy in the summer.
