Heard that Alessandro Crescenzi has been linked with a loan/ view to permanent move to the South coast with Southampton. Currently Italian under 21 player with good experience and lots of potential. Plays as an attacking right back. Roma player who spent last year at serie B.

Not 100% on this rumour however my contact said the Saints chairman has good relations in Italy

Mr Cortese does have good links to Italy.
His close ties secured the loan of Papa Waigo a couple seasons ago.
Also rumoured in 2010 that AC Milan tried to lure him onto their board and leave the Saints.
Whatever happens and whoever he a Nigel Adkins work to bring in - I trust them both to do their best for the club.

Probably, because the press are a lazy bunch!
But, I can't see it happening. Cortese is rumoured to be against past players returning and whilst Baird was a half decent player I don't see that he brings anything to Saints that could not be achieved better with a much younger alternative.

Zahan& Clyne to Southampton is nonsense! Absolute Rubbish! You'd need to pay at LEAST 10million for Zaha and Clyne want to move to one of the top 4. You Southamton fans are living in a dream world!

Yes - A dream world! He may get 1st team football week in week out but there's a good chance he'll get Championship football next season too. Say what you like, unless you've got £10 mil+ to spend, Palace won't give you the time of day so Yes - dream on.

You do realise he's out of contract right? Palace will have to take whatever they can get for whilst they can! Noone in their right mind would offer £10million for Clyne because A) he's not yet worth that B) he's out of contract

Heard some news from a mate (sometimes gets thing's right but not always so don;t put money on it) saints looking at a few foreign signings - facundo ferreyra from banfield mcdonald mariga on loan from inter and brek shea from dallas... he says we've bid for ferreyra and mariga and got bid accepted for shea, like i said he's not always 100% but is right quite a lot
