Lambert and Shaw are reportedly doubts for Sunday. Lambert has been contending with a back problem and Shaw has picked up a virus.

God-dammit.

Believable15 Unbelievable8

Opportunity for the likes of maybe Omar Rowe etc to have a sniff of the bench with Mayuka fingers crossed getting 90 minutes with Jay-Rod up front

Agree11 Disagree5

Obviously, would like to finish the season on a high with a win, but at least we're safe and in the Prem next season. More worried about what will happen if our Chairman and Manager
should decide to walk, hope this gets resolved quickly and they stay.

Agree9 Disagree2

Think Glenn Whelan may be a doubt for Stoke after putting a pigs head in Kenwyne Jones locker - Kenwyne then went and put a brick through his windscreen!

Agree7 Disagree2

With Fox, Shaw and Forren all doubts. I wouldn't be suprised to see Maya at left back and Jack Stephens come into the squad

Agree3 Disagree3

Forren doubtful for Sunday - well he's been prolific hasn't he!

Agree9 Disagree2

Maya won't be playing left back. Taggart will be drafted in.

Agree4 Disagree2

Heard the possibility of Matt Targett getting his first team Debut on Sunday, that would be a great achievement for the youngster.

Agree7 Disagree2

Shaw isn't injured, he said on twitter so expect him to play on Sunday

Agree3 Disagree4

He has a virus. Not an injury.

Agree2 Disagree2

Really think targett and Isgrove should be at least in the squad if not starting

Agree4 Disagree2

Mayuka in and play a physical back 4 maybe keep clyne playy yoshida LB fonte and jos cbs or maybe for once we play forren.

Agree1 Disagree4

I wouldn't put any of the academy players on against stoke it would be a too physical game

Agree4 Disagree2

It would be a to physical game to play forren on his debut.

Agree5 Disagree2

Shaw said on his twitter that he was fit for the game

Agree1 Disagree2

If Shaw is out expect Ben reeves or Clyne to fill in with maybe Cork at RB or Yoshida

Southampton have been approached from Spurs regarding the availability of Lambert and a un-named player, they were'nt rebuffed and will come back with an offer once the seasons over, this is bad news seems the trust want some money back.

Believable5 Unbelievable33

What a load of rubbish, if you knew anything about football you would know that although we love Lambert there is no way Tottenham would go for him. As they will be going for much higher profile Players and also if you have read anything in the last few days then you no as much as everyone else about what is going on which is very little now bugger off back to fratton park

Agree22 Disagree4

The trust want some money back?

Well then, why would they contemplate selling Lambert-he would not fetch a huge fee because of his age.

Sorry mate, Saints supporters know their football so your attempts to stir it up are futile and sad.

Agree10 Disagree6

Un-named player? You mean Luke Shaw? Haha. Makes me laugh all these silly rumours.

Agree9 Disagree4

I could not possibly believe that Lambert could be part of AVB's Spurs vision. Ludicrous.

Agree8 Disagree3

All this seems very strange to me you don't get managers coming out saying they are going to leave for nothing, and why all the silence? there's clearly a problem. I think cortese is on his way out! all very worrying.

Agree3 Disagree5

There's a war going on with Cortese and the trust, that means there can only be one winner.

Agree3 Disagree4

Basically because the whole NC and Liebherr thing got made public, people jump to conclusions and assume that there is actually an issue of money. Turns out there isn't, media just stirred stuff up due to NC's contract break this summer. Was always going to happen

Agree4 Disagree3

Please stop being silly what a daft posting, honestly.

Agree3 Disagree3

I heard tottenham and chelsea wanted Shaw :/ this will only happen if the Chairman leaves as the manager and team mates will follow, however this threat should make the owners give him a new contract and the guarantees he needs

Agree1 Disagree3

This is rubbish - the rumour is spurs and Chelsea have enquired about shaw and clyne! That's the rumour all over the papers

Agree0 Disagree3

Most people have asked about Luke shaw and as he is going to sign a new contract when he turns 18 I would say he isn't leaving

Agree2 Disagree0

Or perhaps he wants to show some kind of loyalty to the club by signing a contract so that they can get a fee for him instead of him leaving for free?
