Saints are interested in signing alvaro morata on a 6 month loan from Real Madrid in the january transfer rumor.

this is mainly to keep options in the squad to help build for a European spot this season.
Strikers will be lambert, j rod, osvaldo, morata, lee

I think it would be a good idea just in case injury's and suspensions start to catch up on players.

I think we do loans where there is an option to buy at the end of it, who wouldn't?

He is young and looks talented so, if this is true I think it would be quite a good addition the squad.

Who would that be that we have loaned recently then? No one? Oh. This is awkward.

We have done loans, just not in the last 2 seasons. To say we don't is wrong. Jos, Chaplow, that young guy from Tottenham, Papa, Antonio -All under Cortese's reign.

However, at this point, I don't see a loan deal unless we have the option to buy, we are trying to push for Europe so we need comitted players for the long haul that we can develop and mould to play in our system.

We have loaned Hooiveld and a few others I think. Always with an option to buy.

Last loan we done was iago falque

Since Higuain left Real Madrid, Morata is now 2nd choice striker behind Benzema, who let's face it doesn't always show consistent form. he's been used a lot already this season. he will not be loaned out unless they buy another striker.

Lets get Antonio and Papa Waigo back! lol jks
