Re the initial post - maybe, but it is a bit late for 'looks', not just for us but the European Season kicks off in 2 weeks time and I cant see clubs wanting to sell their better players.... We need offers on the table this week I feel.

The signing of Gazzaniga (GK) has been on the cards for a very very long time, long before Buttland.
Alot of people dont know much of him, but he will, given playing time, be one of the best. A top class stopper.

I was at the Evian match. He had a nervy start with a couple of dodgy clearances, but then made one good catch when under reasonable pressure. Was well out of position watching a shot fly just past his right hand post. Looks a decent prospect but difficult to say if 1st team material just yet.

The above post makes no sense, why would we get rid of a 3rd choice keeper to the Gills just to sign a 3rd choice keeper from the Gills.
Gazzaniga isnt first choice right now but he is a big part of the future plans. Not 1st choice right now but he has not come to saints to be 3rd.

We would get another 3rd choice as we need another and tommy fivepast is terrible and needs to go. No other premier league clubs have just 2 goalkeepers and Adkins has said himself that they are getting another hopefully

This is a lie! Saints have no interest in Moses. We are looking at Lens and shipping out Puncheon as soon as we can. They have almost agreed fee for Lens, and should be confirmed in the next 4 to 5 days. Also still looking at the TM and Feeny from Velmore.

We are all aware of Saints looking for a marquee signing and this is it! What great headlines the Echo could come up with.
I haven't heard much in regards to the Dann deal, think we should be aiming for better. All I have heard are initials AK being talked about behind the scenes.

I too have heard this 'AK' rumour banding around although have no idea who he is tbh. I could see Dann signing as has got prem experience but would be very suprised if Feeney from Velmore jumped on board the Saints bus. I see wages being a big issue

reports are coming that saints have agreed a fee with PSV for Jermaine "wright" Lens. the fee belived to be about 6.5m. personal terms now need agreeing N.A wants him in place for Saturdays game against Ajax. Unconfirmed reports that saints may take M.Owen on a season pay as you play deal to cover injuries etc but persnally i cant see going through if Lens signs.

I do totally agree that i metioned OWEN i hope this dosnt happen. I know 1 of Owens friends who used to to care of him when he played in Spain he said Owen hasnt got many options for premiership football but 2 clubs were metioned by him 1 being saints on a possible pay as you play deal, my honest opinion is this wont happen as we are building a young team and Owen is too old now. The reports came from a friend who lives in Eindhovan who is close to both Eindhovan teams with media and confirms we went back with new bid that was accepted also postings have been on the ugly inside.

Don't get me wrong. I agree about the Lens deal and think that 6.5 would be good value, better value than jrod actually! Just can't see owen coming here. Although he may contribute valuable experience.

Maybe wont come but i want him because he brings prem experince which we havent got much of good in the dresing room and i think he can still bang in the goals just keeping him fit
