NA has contacted Rosenborg about the availability of 19 year old norway international midfielder markus henrikson. could be available for £3million
he did agree a move to club brugge in january, but later turned them down
This would be a good signing for us, but i think that we still need one or two Premier league experienced players. We have an amazing academy that we know we can rely on. £3mil could get us a player that has played at this level and is comfortable in the Prem.
There are other players that should have been higher up the list for signing, but as i said this would still be very promising for the future.
There have been rumours that Saints have been looking at 3 or 4 18/19 year olds, and I can see the logic in this. I don't see them as going straight into the first team squad but to add to the group coming through the academy. It will take the academy a few years yet to develop enough players from schoolboy age.
