Hear saints are interested in signing koke from athletico Madrid and also Julian Dlaxier from Schalke. Wouldn't mind either as koke is a cm and Dlaxier can play on the wing or in the middle. Dlaxier is young so the sort of player saints would want to sign

Believable4 Unbelievable16

Draxler? He's incredibly highly demanded and an incredible player. No way will we sign him. If he leaves Schalke he will go to one of the top clubs in the world.

Agree18 Disagree4

Where are you hearing this? Do you have a source of any kind?

Lenny

Agree9 Disagree3

Cant see us getting draxler, even if we did he wouldn't be cheap, hell play for somebody like barca or munich when he's older

Agree6 Disagree1

Draxler is sort of player everyone wants to sign! This is not going to happen - he the next big thing in Germany and will end up at Munchen I'm sure.

Agree4 Disagree1

But maybe he would be the big signing of the transfer market like Ramirez was last year

Agree2 Disagree4

I have no idea who Saints will sign but it does seem that every player who is linked to Saints is too good and will go to one of the top six clubs or want Champions League football. There can't be that many places available or they would be at these clubs already. Surely some players are willing to work to helping a club achieve higher status rather than them have it handed to them on a plate.

Agree13 Disagree4

Draxler signed a new contract last week

Southampton are believed to be interested in signing Manchester City's James Milner for a fee of 10 million.

Believable8 Unbelievable38

Not happening.

Agree21 Disagree5

Hope not, he is really not that good

Agree17 Disagree15

Please god no.

Agree18 Disagree14

Would be a class signing

Agree9 Disagree22

Milner is awesome

Agree10 Disagree17

Milner is featuring relatively regularly for City and on wages probably near 5 times what we will be willing to pay.

Agree10 Disagree8

Ridiculous post, if Milner left city, which he wont, he would walk into any top 6 club, Southampton?, lol

Agree6 Disagree11

He would only go to a club which is already in Champions league. He is actually more likely to head abroad than join us.

Agree6 Disagree5

With signings like him, we will be top 6. So take your bitter clueless comments back on to your own plastic club page.

Agree4 Disagree5

Please god no? what he's a class player and imagine his quality of cross into Lambert would be a top signing bt I don't see it personally

Agree6 Disagree2

Would be a waste to sign him given his wage demands. Plus he's not going to leave Manchester City where he plays relatively regularly at a club which is currently challenging for the title for a club which is not playing in Europe yet or really challenging for the title. Plus I think we have better ways to go about improving our squad.

Agree2 Disagree1

I would rather sign an unknown player from one of the poorest nations in the world. milner is rubbish. I hate it when he comes on or starts for england, especially when lallana and cork are better

Agree3 Disagree4

Milners a quality player. England Internatonal must sign him

Agree4 Disagree5

Milner is based in leeds his home town where he has a property business.

His Father manages that business and told a friend who was working on developing one of the properties that James owns that he wants to stay at City and then when finished play for his home town club Leeds until he retires. He would not come south.

However Garath Barry would, not heard that saints are interested in him but I guess would bring huge experience to our midfield. Just a thought not a rumour.

Agree2 Disagree2

Milner clearly doesn't fit the mold at Man City as he actually works his arse off and seems to give a damn - unlike the rest of the City team.
Would he be a good signing - yes.
Will we sign him - no.

Agree5 Disagree3

I actually rate Puncheon more than Milner. Can never understand how he keeps getting England call ups.

Agree3 Disagree3

Barry already has a goal for Southampton to his name. Maybe that was a subtle hint he wants to come to us ^^

In seriousness though I wouldn't want Barry or Milner. We are better off with who we have then adding those and we want young and hungry players who want to prove themselves in this league to bring us forward. Players from top foreign leagues will want to establish themselves here too.

Agree7 Disagree1

James Milner is a quality player! Can cross puts a shift in him and Clyne would be insane down the right, shame it won't happen!

Agree3 Disagree6

Milner is an awful footballer

Agree7 Disagree4

I remember screamin at the tv when Milner came on for England at Euro's - he was awful

Southampton FC will sign these players this summer. Jesus Gamez from Malaga for 4 million, Davide Astori from Cagliari for 12 million, Victor Wanyama from Celtic for 12 million, Erik Lamela from Roma for 17 million, Adrian Lopez from Athletico for 6 million.

Believable15 Unbelievable19

Where's this 50 mil coming from mate?

Agree5 Disagree12

Would much prefer the signing of that Victor Ruiz player to the other Centre back mentioned. Also think the prices seem to be a bit off for each player.

Agree3 Disagree2

We spent 30 million last summer so Cortese wouldn't of had to work hard to get that amount again. I've head that 50 million is closer to our budget this season.

Agree4 Disagree7

Saints have a transfer budget of about 50 million this summer + whatever is made from outgoings

Agree4 Disagree5

£51 million, and no right back, left back or striker… You're out of your tree

Agree4 Disagree8

Victor wanyama will never leave celtic to fight relagation when man city man united and arsenal are wonting him so dream on

Agree2 Disagree14

Jesus Gamez is a right back, and fox will stay and be a back up, also adrian is a striker

Agree4 Disagree2

I can understand the argument for him maybe preferring a move to Arsenal but leaving Celtic is something you do when you fancy a challenge week in week out rather than the equivalent of a sunday league.

Agree8 Disagree0

Fight relegation? ha. Clearly absolutely clueless.

Agree8 Disagree5

Why post 'we will sign these players'? That's ridiculous and childish. Cortese couldn't say that, so how could you. Although targets sound realistic, we would need other areas strengthened. This budget talk is nonsense. We don't have a set budget. If the player is what we want and the right price, it will happen.

Agree4 Disagree1

These players are the mose likely to sign for Saints, the players here fill the posistion we need.

Agree3 Disagree1

Our budget has been kept under wraps. The fact that you come in here stating 'fact' that it was 30 last year so it's 50 this year is ridiculous. Every window we spend less than these dream lists you come up with. Cortese has already had trouble obtaining a decent fee from the owners. 50 million is a lot.

Agree4 Disagree1

And by the way, we can forget Lukaku - he's lined up for Swansea. Chelsea want him to play regularly and have European experience.

PS Is anyone else worried that Rickie, although assured of legendary status at Southampton, is approaching what must be final year leading the Saints, and that none of these highly entertaining roumors are building a successor to him?

Mumbler

Agree4 Disagree3

Rodriguez is the most likely successor to Ricky and Lukaku is not going to Swansea he's said himself he's not decided anything yet.

Agree3 Disagree0

Where is the 50 million coming froe. easy the sale of Danny Fox

Agree6 Disagree0

I don't think Fox is worth that much!
Liehberr posse also won't want to see too many pricy signings

Agree2 Disagree1

Cant wait till we get rid of Fox

Agree2 Disagree2

Man City don't want wanyama - they're too busy signing everybody else

Agree1 Disagree0
