What's with all the negativity, the kits nice not what were used to, but it's a good kit and is not 'ugly'.
Being worried about a lack of signings, man city haven't signed anyone yet and I'm sure they will.
I'm sure we'll stay up next season we're better than Norwich and Swansea and they stayed up comfortably, we've proved with current bid so far that we have money to spend, we have great facilities, there isn't a player, that's been mentioned that's too good for us.

Personally i thinks its Snazzy looking Kit!! i love it, its nothing like are old kit which is pretty much the same as Sunderland kit if you get me and now it looks different and has some style about i think, We are premier league and we cant stick with what we are used to so COYR

The new kit looks cheap and lower division, re Boro, Forest and Bristol City.
It's the only blemish on our well led club and great season ahead. The sooner we dump it the better

The red and white stripes remind you of the Lowe era? The red and white were long established before the 'Dark Lord' arrived to to try and destroy us.
The new kit looks fantastic.....better than some of those awful kits of the 80's and 90's.

I like the kit too! Although, I must admit prefer the away kit. I'd suggest that this is a response to the chant 'C'mon you reds' which continued to be regularly heard even when we had the sash design, which clearly wasnt at all red. I'm looking forward to using that chant next season safe in the knowledge that my team are wearing the colour that is being refereed to in the chant we are singing. Not 'Cmon you red and whites'. Not 'Cmon you white with a diagonal red stripes'. But 'Cmon you reds'!! Good times :-)

If saints cant get a decent defender for the right price, then they may turn there attention for inter milans Lucio, who is now a free agent after canceling his contract by mutual consent
I'd love lucio, immense player 2yr ago lost a little since then, but unfortunately that deal won't happen

That is a real bummer he would've been a great signing. Reading have got Guthrie, probrempniak and have more chance of staying up thane us at this rate all we've signed is an unproven youth who is worse than we already have {Ed038's Note - Where's your faith?}

You cant be serious its a awesome kit i love it better than the old kit which look like a two year old had designed it! the whole point is it looks smart and is different to kits like Sunderland which are/were very similar to our kit!

i think every Saints fan is hoping that over the next three days a signing will be made, because the new shirt is out as well so i'm expecting the new shirt to be held in a picture by a new signing as well.. would be nice but lets wait and see what happens today at six :D

Now complain about the new kit..... we have a manager with a 60 odd per cent win rate and an attacking team thatconsistently scores goals. A few short years ago we were broke. Enjoy the good times you Saints fans...while we are playing Man City Arsenal and so on, the skates will be up against the mighty Crawley Town.... Lucio sounds like a great shout (if we could persuade him) Knees up mother brown!!

Southampton legend Graeme Le Saux hopes manager Nigel Adkins can make the right signings this summer.
Le Saux insists midfield flair akin to last season’s surprise package Swansea is a must if Nigel Adkins’ men are to avoid the drop.
He said: “For a team like Southampton they need to have a bit more creativity through the middle, like a Mata-type player as we have seen with Swansea.
“They (Swansea) have good technical players in the centre of midfield and they can be the link and open up defences.”
