Not sure how urgently we need an older, experienced goalkeeper. We have Kelvin Davis who'll keep ticking over. I'd rather sign a youthful goalkeeper (early 20s) and bring him into the squad.

Skysports reporting that Southampton are showing an Interest in Michu from vallecano. He has scored 15 goals in the la liga and has a 4.9 million release clause

There will be a lot of competition for him but he would be a sensational signing if the paper talk is correct. Runs all day and is a real box to box, ball winning, playmaking, goalscoring midfielder. Has it all. Whether he would get physically bossed in the prem is another question..

Southampton will sign Conor McAleny from Everton on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.
He will however be loaned straight out for the season to gain first team experience

I don't think so the lad is highly thought of at Everton and has been sent out on loan to Scunthorpe to get some first team experience.
