Adkins deserves his chance. I'm sure that the club will see it, if he fails to make the step up, and I'm also sure he'll get a fair crack at it to prove himself...
He's such a top bloke, that I reckon he'd even go to NC himself and ask that the club look to replace him, if he feels he is holding us back.

No way anyone remember 2004/2005 season? We called 'arry "Secret Agent Harry Redknapp" his sole instruction was to destroy us on the pitch while Rupert "duck hunter" Lowe took care of the rest. This/ he must never be allowed to happen again. Forget all his Arsenal players for Spurs "who cares" Harry Redknapp said when he was placed on leave by Saints " he should never have left Portsmouth and he was only sorry that Jamie's career ended with relegation".

You are entitled to your opinion my friend, but calling people "stupid" for spending £30m on the club we love... Sounds very... Sounds very... Well... Sounds very STUPID and UNGRATEFUL.
Only Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United spent more (net) than Saints during this summer transfer window.
And YES, our defence is our weak area. BUT I reckon that the deals on the table for defenders were not right for Saints, and that's why we did not get more defensive players in... Cortese will not waste money on "desperate deals", unlike some other clubs - Transfer windows drive "panic buying", and Cortese is too slick an operator to fall into that trap.

Think its great cortese is spending so much money on saints but i just wish he would have spent it on areas of the side which we are weak such as in goal ,central defence and left back in which we do not have premiership standard players at the moment

Mate, after replying to your post earlier today, and now just watching our defence against Manchester United, I have to agree that you have a point. I am sorry for saying you we're stupid. I think you are right, but I was just trying to stick up for the club, after spending such a huge amount of cash over the summer.

Fonte wasn't too bad in the United game. As for Kelvin Davis he played one bad pass. Don't let a player be judged on one or two moments. Granted I'd like to see Gazzaniga get a shot but you can't discredit Kelvin especially after his performances for saints these past few seasons.
