Have hear thats southampton may be about to launch a double bid for both martin Olsson and scott Dann or blackburn rovers. the bid is thought to be in the region of 10Million pounds. This would see Dann valued at 6Million and Olsson at 4Million repesctivley. Furthermore this could see player used in the deal to lower the initials fee, since blackburn have signalled they are looking for strikers and are weak in centre midfield could hint towards sharp,lee (Loan), hammond and chaplow.

This is complete Rubbish they are not worth that kind of Money and Southampton won't be loaning any of these players. I also think the Dann rumour is nonsense the papers just wanted to pin him to a club.

Could see this happening! BUT.... No way will sharp or lee be involved in the deal!

Agree with everything apart from Sharp, Hammond and Lee being used in exchange - they will be key players for us next year

Olsson a possibility, but not convinced re Dann. If we were that interested could have tied it up weeks ago.

Apparently, Steve Kean has been interviewed saying they have turned down bids for Martin Olsson. he is still undergoing treatment and probably will not be fit for the big kick-off. Get Shaw in the team I say.

Both of these players were absolute rubbish for Blackburn last year. I hope we steer well clear especially if Blackburn want big money for them.

I can only see hammond going as he is no where near the quality we need, unlike sharp, lee or chaplow, but i could see lee going on loan for a few months to regain full fitness

Oh, I almost read it the wrong way. You do of course mean that we purchase back OC from Arsenal, and loan out Luke Shaw so he can gain experience, albeit at a smaller club. Silly me, I keep forgetting we are bigger than Arsenal these days...

Total Nonsense, for one the Southampton have said the youth players are just not being sold and for another thing Chamberlain is not coming back to St Mary's. Also Southampton most likely have no interest in another striker let along this 'Miller' kid.

Why would we want kenny miller! He'd be 5th choice striker if he was lucky! Plus has he not just joined a team in the states to cash in the rest of his career?

I think everyone has picked up on how stupid this post is regarding the shaw and ox-chamberlain part ... but seem to have missed the fact that Kenny Miller left Cardiff for Vancouver Whitecaps less than a month ago !
