Read a rumour the other day that we might go for victor Moses in the summer, I think he would add something different, so would have him in squad

If we are interested in Moses, or that type of player it would be worth considering Zaha who when he came on for Cardiff looked really dangerous. It appears as if Moyes is not too keen on him for some reason which is a shame as he has real talent and has the ability to produce a bit of magic to turn a game.

Zaha had a fling with Moyes' daughter, there's been tension ever since.

Don't worry about players for the summer. get the money for Osvaldo and give it to the manager. he will be our best signing next year
Agree13

I think it's a good thing we didn't sign anyone. We ain't going to get relegated or get Europe so
Might aswell use this time to develop young talent without buying leave that for next season

Why do you all think we won't get Europe, we're 2 points behind a stuttering Newcastle and 5 behind Man U, hardly unachievable

Tbh lads, if we activate BEAST mode for the rest of the season, I wouldn't be surprised to see us just behind Everton in sixth. Newcastle - we WILL overtake them. Manchester United - not actually that far off. Spurs - a team full of clowns who don't know each other's names.
Isn't actually that far away. COYR

We ain't going to pass man u or Everton be realistic aha

If man U keep playing the way they are I don't see why not. Last game of the season we'll win and leap frog them into 7th you heard it here first!

Why would we want Europe this season? In a world cup year, most of our players will be away & will return with very little rest & in time for pre season. europa league kicks off early so the squad will be absolutely knackered!. I say, let another team or two sneak into them positions & that gives us a better chance to push on next season. I think whoever qualifies for europe this season will have a poison chalice on their hands

I just hope saints don't make it into the europa league, they are playing so well at the moment but we had easier games at the start of our season which pushed us to a around 22 points in a short while I have my doubts as was said before how well we would do in a dog fight at the bottom, the players can express themselves with no pressure at the moment, so let's enjoy the it. GOING INTO EUROPE NO THANKS

It would be grate travelling to Trabzonspor or whatever they call it, in November to see our under 21 side get beat 3-0, bloody brilliant, that's progress. Where do I pay my deposit?

Europa league, the kiss of death that's what started our downfalll last time.

But remember as we'll we r still in the fa cup and could still qualify through that unlikely but still could happen

I reckon Chambers and Clyne could play in the same team with chambers playing further forward. Thoughts? Seems a shame one of them has to miss out every game as they are both great players.

Maybe as part of a 4-4-2 but can't really see it in our current system.

Could Chambers become like Micah Richards or Chris Smalling and move inside? He's big enough to be a CB and young enough to learn. And he's confident enough on the ball to play out from the back, so would suit us better than Maya or Jos hoofing the ball any old place. Could be good.

I was actually thinking of clyne as RM - he's got such pace et and skill going forward
Agree12

Chambers started out as a DM, so slotting into CB wouldn't (I think) be an issue. But remember, we have Stephens & Turnbull coming through at CB now.

Don't compare chambers to smalling. He is way better than smalling. I reckon mr. Chris pays hodgey to pick him for England squad
Agree6
Disagree0
Id say cne is mor of a rm than chambers as he is smaller faster and crosses better maybejust me, chambers is better defensivly thow
Agree2

Chambers is better defensively than Clyne, Clyne probably just edges it going forward. Up until last season Chambers actually played centre mid for the academy, so there's always a possibility to use him there if we need to
Agree2
Disagree1
I thought chambers played RM for England and our youth team last year? Personally I think Clyne is better than chambers at defending at the moment but others seem to disagree
Agree9
Disagree1
Nah he played as a deep lying playmaker, like Carrick, but better obviously
Agree3

Difficult for the manager, he may want to keep Chambers motivated and show other youngsters that they can make the grade whilst not alienating Clyne who personally I think still has the edge and is hardly old himself.
Similar situation with Wanyama and Cork but Poch seems to have made his mind up that no matter how well one plays, having paid big bucks for the other he must play him form or not. Will be a shame if we loose Clyne and Cork in the summer, and of course Poch most likely will go as well. Sorry to be gloomy but it's more realistic than all the Euro hype COYR

Chambers was never a CDM he was an RW/RM before he moved to RB

Don't forget everybody winning the FA Cup would get us into Europe and all the TV revenue. We will be safe in the Prem so let's go for it. A trip to Wembley would be good to show we have the best support in the country, remember 44,000 for the Johnsons Paint final. Amazing.

Clyne is more attacking so I would prefer him playing further forward
