Anyone else think whilst watching us demolish Chelsea "Jeez, they'll be bids for Mane, Tadic, Pelle, Vic, Cedric, Bertrand, Virgil.?"

Good job you don't support Barca-you would be frantic every window!
Just part of the modern game. Better than being a supporter of a poor team where the players are everyone else's cast offs.
If one or two go, can the club replace with better, is the key question. So far, yes.

They have done but it can't carry on. Tadic, mane and wanyamma will be subject to bids this summer if we keep them in Jan!

Suspect Ronaldo, Bale and maybe, Messi will also be subject to bids. "it can't carry on"-err, why not? The pundits say the same thing. But they have yet to be correct about Saints issues, so why believe them?
It is just symptomatic of the rise of Saints. We have some pretty exciting players and I would like to see them stay but if the club move up another level, or two, perhaps we will need further improvement in the squad (remember, we failed to make the group stage in the Europa competition with this squad.) The numbers show clearly that if the squad is improved you just can't keep hold of all of the existing players. And some who go will be good players because we couldn't afford to add better without selling some at high prices.

I know it's Ancelotti to LFC, but just think if Koeman went there and we got Brendan - would he just never buy another player ever again? Or would he start paying fees for our U21's to get them in the first team?

I cringe at the thought of that knob being our manager. Don't even want him as our kit man. Only thing Bodgers' good at is talking senseless drivel and thickening our budget.
I wouldn't waste my time thinking on that thank you very much.

He was poor against Man United, but his last two games - Swansea and Chelsea - have been seriously impressive.

FF was very unlucky with the serious injury last season. He was arguably one of the top 4-5 keepers in the league at that time and was leading the clean sheet chart at that moment (Of course all of the defence did their part) Such a shame as I thought he was starting to establish an understanding with his defence which is essential to any defensive third. If/once he comes back to his best, I'd love to see him being able to control his defence, and his decisions, more. With FF and Fonte both marshalling the back, we could be a really tough nut to crack.
