The Star. yes The Star are suggesting that Liverpool are after J-Rod I make that pretty much everyone from Saints linked with a move away from the club appart from the CBs and strangly enough Jack Cork.

Nothing on players comining in appart from;

re-cycled one about Astori
Sane from Bordeux
Grigg from L1 Walsaw

Seems the media haven't cottoned on that we are no longer set up to be "perenial strugglers" short of cash

No way would 1 saints let him go and 2 liverpool aren't going to meet our asking price of at least 12m which is a fair price compared to other forwards. And 3 he doesn't want to leave got more chance of a european spot next season with us than liverpool.

12m? I would snap him up for that, got to have an off nearer to 20m

Agreed Jay Rod is a young english talent that if he carries on the way he's been playing should be looking to get into the england set up soon so 16 mil + I would be asking but in my opionion I wouldn't sell him for less than 25 atm.

Today's daily star is saying that Liverpool want Jay rod.

Believable1 Unbelievable9

Think you will find Liverpool are looking to sign everyone! Trouble is, they have a number of players coming to the end of their careers, Suarez is likely to leave in the summer and the owners are fed up forking out money for new players.

I suspect their dealings in the summer will be more akin to Everton-sell who they can and look for bargains-but don't think they are used to this and will struggle.

Saints aren't push overs anymore, we have been fighting Liverpool for players, I doubt we will sell to them.

J Rod been linked with moves to liverpool and chelsea in the week hope he stays, plus why does everyone say he is one for the future look at him now.

Agree2 Disagree0

Doubt Liverpool will wind up in Everton's situation. Brendon Rogers has a long term plan to improve their squad probably involving doing little selling and little adding. Can't see us selling our best players though seeing as we are a very wealthy club with European ambitions. But can see some of our fringe players leaving to be replaced with more talent.

^ true he has flourished under MP. J-Rod and Sir Rickies link up play is unbelievable.
