Southampton interested in young Real Madrid winger Jese Rodriguez

Jese looks like a fantastic prospect. Has the attributes to be a hit in Premiership. Hope this rumour is true. Once we secure safety I also think we will sign Lucas Biglia from Anderlecht, who wants to be "in the window" for Argentina Team selection for World Cup 2014 in Brazil. Saints have been tracking Biglia since last summer, but Pochettino surely has the pulling power to finally land his fellow countryman if [when!] Saints stay up.
I'm not sure why everyone's so keen on foreign players! I'd say out of all our signings this season (not including Forren as he hasn't played yet) Clyne and Jay Rod look the best and wow they're both English, then Boruc, Davies, Yoshida then Ramirez, who I think will turn out to be a class signing for us bot I don't think he's shown his 12million worth to us yet and to be honest I would've rather seen Lallana and Puncheon start ahead of him when we played Reading. I'd much rather look at Ince than this guy or Nathan Redmond maybe.
Although I'd prefer to see home grown players come through they are just too pricey. Eg Andy Carroll £35 mill, Michu £2 mill.
Carroll is a lot younger than Michu though with potential and at the time was one of the top scorers in the league but I agree defo not 35m, maybe 10-12m at the time and well Michu is a class signing and a better player, and would now be valued at more like 20m, and to think we were linked to this guy in the summer. really wish we got him now!
Rodriguez is a strong young player and would be a superb swoop for Southampton, would prove great competition for Ramirez among others in the team. Not sure how keen Real Madrid would be to let this wonder kid go though.
As for the English against foreign players argument. I think English players are important but they cost too much for what they are. Rodriguez is a good young talent in his own right and would be a very good player. We already have a strong English base and have no doubt the club will improve on that but Foreign players can be huge boosts to a side as well. I think we are currently on a good balance of the two.

The fact they are English isn't the reason they perform better. Nothing to say there isn't foreign talent much better we could bring. That statement could be taken with borderline Racism! Very narrow-minded.

Are you being serious? Saying that statement could be considered as anything racist is ridiculous! He/She is Clearly just stating we should go for English players because the English players that we have brought, on the whole have been better! Not that English are better then foreigners because they are English, now that could be considered racist!
Why is it every so often one of these rumours goes completely off topic and develops into a ridiculous argument?
