Astori is supposedly pending final agreements between clubs before the transfer can complete. Depending on how complex the situation and the willingness for Calgari to let him leave that could take one more day or the rest of the window if it happens at all.
As for the list of names I'm not sure what it has to do with anything but I will just point out you clearly don't know that is the real list as Adkins said no keepers and you've included Given.

Adkins sais no keepers but since when does he tell the truth to the press for the simple reason in private meens pottentaly cheaper

Adkins is very good at playing mind games. Just because he says no new keepers means nothing. Boruc out of contract in summer, Gazzaniga needs more time so there is a need for a top class premier league standard keeper.

Well done. Boruc is out of contract in the summer. I think that is when he will be getting a new goalkeeper then. For now we will get by on Gazzaniga and Boruc.

Saints are showing serious interest in Phillipe Coutinho - 20 year old Brazilian winger who plays for Inter. He looks a very good player! Loan deal more likely than buying atm, but could have the option to join permenantly in the summer. - villa also interested
Sky sports also reporting that we've made a bid for Astori apparently, not seen sky sports myself but heard a lot of people saying so on twitter

Just seen it on Sly Sports. Said Cagliari are 'considering' our offer - that he's played 100 times for them, twice for Italy and is 27 tomorrow. lets hope we wrap it up as heard that Jose is out for 3 weeks.

I have seen it on sky lets now :)

Apparently Villa are in for him and his team is quoting 10m...?

Astori is 26 tomorrow, I think Astori to saints will happen, that just my opinion atm. Early stages for the Countinho deal, but that's still possible I think. Villa won't have £10m so I think we are favourites

Media coverage has basically said of Aston Villa that to bring in they must first ship out.

That might be the case, but tbh if they sell there starting 11, they still won't make enough to bid for him! :)

Saints fan here, don't be so naive...Villa are a big club and have wealthy (enough) owners. If they want to stay in the prem they need to make some big transfers this window.
I'm a Saints supporter, and think Saints is the better option for any player. But don't be surprised if desperate teams (QPR, Reading, Villa) throw some money around this window, potentially more than us. Their owners are wealthy enough, and you can't put a price on staying in the prem.

Paul Lambert has already stated he wont be bringing n anymore players

Villa have limited funds and I really do not see them spending that amount of money on one player. Their chairman is reluctant to spend.

"[Villa's] chairman is reluctant to spend"
He spent a reported £24 million on Bent when they weren't relegation threatened. Don't see why they wouldn't shell out £10 million on a player this window if it meant staying up.
