Hi Ed, got some questions for you bud.

I heard some rumours about players wanted to hear if you knew anything
Austin, Gradel, Ogbonna, Van Dijk, Clasie. supposedly interested in them and have been in contact idk if it's true just wondered if you knew anything. or if we are interested in any players I haven't put.

Cheers ed I'm not worried about the summer but it's getting stupid now that we are messing about and missing out on top quality players that we will need. I'm questioning saints willingness to buy at the moment I know we will buy but just at the moment I'm not seeing intent from us. What do you make of it?

{Ed001's Note - the club are just trying to stay on track financially and not get drawn into bidding wars. If they overpay on one, then that cuts the budget on others. It is a difficult juggling act to be fair. I think the quality of academy products allows the club to hold off unless they get the right deal, as they know they can rely on a youngster to fill the squad out if they can't bring in players they want.}

So many contradictory articles in the media about the Toby situation.
Hopefully either way this will be sorted out very quickly so that we either have him or get another player in instead
Eds, have you heard anything more concrete than what's been banded around on the media?

It would seem to be so, official announcement expected in a few hours.

It's easy to question the club for not being able to get this done, but until we know the specifics it'd be misguided to place blame, although I've no doubt some will be ready to berate about this!

For all we know Toby could have said he wanted to play for Spurs rather than Saints. Additionally it may not be cleared by the FA immediately, all of this we will see.

I'm confident we'll get someone of equal ability in. Remember who our actual best centre back was last season, he's the one that wears the captain's armband.

A quick question to any of you.

Anything new in regards to schneiderlin? It seems MU made a bid which was rejected and I'm just wondering if interest has moved on or is something still expected to happen between the two.

I appreciate this has been done to death so if you wish not answer this delete this post.

{Ed001's Note - last I heard United were likely to come back in for him. I am a bit surprised it is not done yet, as Southampton are agreeable to selling him to a team in the Champions League and he wants a team in the Champions League.}
