According to the Daily Fail, Jay Rodiguez is back from his holiday today so the deal could be completed this weekend.

It's up to Rodriguez whether he plays regularly. There is no free ride in the Premiership and he would find exactly the same competition for a place at any good team. If he can't cope with that, he should stay in a lower league.
