Charlton is the best we've played and attacked as a cohesive unit, with end product, away from home, probably since Koeman. And what a shame poor Nathan was on the receiving end.

Tonda doesn't seem one to be gesticulating and playing up for the cameras, he just stands, observes and says what he needs to behind closed doors. And after the myriad of lunatics over the last few years that may be just what this group need.

Not that it's right - they've essentially waited until the grown ups are out of the room to start messing about, but that independence seems to have freed them of any shackles for the first time in a long while.

No relentless adherence to a set way of playing, just 'go and play', and we have scored some superb goals as a result. 10 in 3 games. If only we could keep a clean sheet.

With relegation now back off the cards (Wednesday, Oxford and one other of the bottom six will surely finish worse off even if we capitulate again), there's nothing to lose.

It's such a bonkers league we could genuinely finish anywhere from 2nd to 19th, but there's no need to change something that is currently working. The hope is that changing his job title from interim to permanent doesn't see another epidemic of pathetic performances.

We may be 16th, and only won 5 games of 16, but this is so much more fun than being pelted in the PL every week. Especially when our manager doesn't seem like a nutcase for once!

Saint GGsy You’ve just saved me writing a supportive screed on Tonda as you have 100% nailed it.Admittedly I have suggested several likely candidates in the past watching a couple of Tonda’s interviews the young man carries himself very well and is impressive on many aspects of the game He’s a good strategist and recognises Players’most effective positions.I hope he continues to remain humble and in my opinion SFC have uncovered a GEM. I also believe he has proved himself and deserves to be offered the position as most of us would be more than upset should a bigger Club try to poach him, PS.
