as I said yesterday Wanyama will be confirmed in the morning. happy days!

1.) 10 Jul 2013
Why is that happy days? Is he better than cork or Morgan?

2.) 10 Jul 2013
Yes he is better. In my opinion and at very least just as good. You need a squad of quality not quantity to progress and that is what they are building. Plus VW can play across the back line as well. Don't see to many others in our squad with league titles cup medals and CL exp under there belts. Think the lad in time with his build and power and pace could be our answer to yaya at city. let's hope

3.) 10 Jul 2013
Agree with you on the champions league experience and versatility of Wanyama will be a good addition, but I don't think he's much of an attacking threat apart from set pieces.

4.) 10 Jul 2013
No I agree maybe not now but I was thinking more towards the future really with that part of my post. You never know and boy we would be lucky if it turned out that way and what a snip 12m would look then. Start of the season can't come quick enough

5.) 10 Jul 2013
I think the way he is better than cork or spider is that he brings more to the table going forward. He reminds me of Lampard in the run that he makes, and is something I've thought we should have for a while. Quite often I've seen the players on the edge of the box passing around to try to find someone to shoot and no one can except our strikers, granted Steven Davis changed this recently but the point still stands. I see Wanyama as Davis' replacement.

6.) 10 Jul 2013
Why are some people afraid Wanyama will replace a current first team player? The competition for places is important not only to keep Morgan/Cork on their toes, but also to be able to rotate the team when MP feels he needs to. Signing new players is done to improve the team/squad and to have options when someone is injured/suspended.

7.) 10 Jul 2013
I see it as 3 great midfielders, so yeah, happy days! -OP

8.) 10 Jul 2013
To the person who put "he`s not much of an attacking threat". 1. He is a very good distance shooter.
2. How is Jack Cork any more of an attacking threat than Wanyama?
I`m delighted with this signing and as he`s of a tender age, he can only get better imo!

9.) 10 Jul 2013
You are getting a bargain, wanyama will do realy well down south

10.) 10 Jul 2013
He has a lot of what we've been missing about him. He's dangerous from set pieces, not afraid to hit it (we've been guilty of trying to pass the ball into the net way to many times) and will allow spider to go forward whilst giving us some extra legs in midfield at the end of the season. He's a cracking buy

11.) 10 Jul 2013
Are morgan or cork much of an attacking threat?

12.) 10 Jul 2013
Having watched him for two years I think you will be pleasantly surprised in big vic when going forward. he can hit a 30 yard shot as good and sweet as anyone I have ever seen. He is a man mountain who will never be bossed of a ball. this allows him to surge forward when the opportunity arises. Most of you will have seen him against barca where he had a specific role to sit back and stop xavi and iniesta which he did easily but he can power forward to you have exciting times ahead hope he is a great success and he will be missed

13.) 11 Jul 2013
Thank you for the advice from the Celtic fans. I am very pleased if the rumours are true and he has signed. Everything I have seen of him shows some excellent class both in defence and going forward with some great room for improvement.

14.) 11 Jul 2013
He doesn't need to be as good as Morgan to be worth 12m

But by all accounts he is :)
