juventus striker vucinich is reportedly a part of a swap for dani osvaldo, would this be a good transfer?, also dany ings and kasper schmichel are big southampton targets with david astori still reportedly making a move to st marys in the summer, thoughts?

I thought Astori was off to Spurs. We don't want him anyway as he makes so many mistakes. This one is perennial and I don't think its going to happen nor do I want it to. Better options for us to pursue are Heitinga, John Stones or maybe even (and I'm expecting wrath for this one) Jolean Lescott!

2.) 02 May 2014
Heitinga? Doubt Stones would come and Lescot wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but we should go for someone better than Heitinga and Lescot and someone younger?

3.) 02 May 2014
Personally I think lescot would be a quality signing for us, everyone always goes on about we need to sign younger but I think we could do with a bit of experience

In my opinion, Van dijk of Celtic would be a superb signing for us in a department that we need improvement in; the CB position. He is young, pacy, a quality defender with great marking and good anticipation; he also is good at tackling and is decent at aerial duels (his height helps him with that). He also has great composure on the ball and has scored quite a few goals; free kicks included. We have apparently scouted him numerous times as well, so this might be a player that could actually sign for us in the summer. He has bundles of potential. What would you guys think of this?

Van Dijk would be a quality signing. Would be available for 5-8mil, seeing as celtic paid 2.6mil for him a year ago.

Why are we constantly linked with Celtic players. My grandma would look a good player in the SPL.
Honestly

Wanyama looked ten times more of a player in that league, keep that in mind

8.) 03 May 2014
Wanyama looks quality in the prem too, when you put in motm performances against juve, ac milan and barce you can't be a bad player. Stop mindlessly bashing him with nothing to back it up

9.) 03 May 2014
The 3 games since Wanyama been back in the team have arguably been man of the match performances, he's not put a foot wrong, 95%+ passing rate, clean sheets, only an assist off of being better than Cork in every available statistic having played in 21 games vs Cork's 27. He's been immense, as he was before his injury. let's leave the dislike of him now shall we?

in other news, Van Dijk would be great - especially for the money we could possibly get him for
