Certain tabloids are saying we are close to securing rojo and the midfielder from inter! I was thinking that because Bertrand has been signed this would signal the rojo deal is off.

Well can Bertrand not play higher up the pitch? And rojo can play centre back? So of you look at it that way we could well still see rojo, we need players that can play more than one position so this would fit the bill

I simply do not believe the board are prepared to stump up the 16mill for Rojo
If they did they would win me over as it would be a statement of intent that they really are looking to improve the team rather than just tread water

I agree I think it would be the 'marquee' signing that we need. I did read today that 2 other clubs are looking at him, not to sure.
