Heard on the vine of grapes that Arsenal want VVD and are prepared to swap Wallcott - there is a delay on money as he wants more than Saints can offer, so to me that says he wouldn't rule a return out. I think that would be a great asset to the team and would happily see VVD leave for the 75 million price tag.

I've heard it's hit the bricks already cause Walcott wants 180k pw we can only offer 130k pw but it would still make him the highest earner.

Yeah I don't think the club should be prepared to change our wage system for Theo Walcott. If one player earns that much than our whole team will want the same.

Not entirely sure Walcott is the solution to our lack of goals up front. Plus as someone plus the Eds stated these cash plus players deals are really difficult to put together. There are better options out there i'm sure.

I'd be surprised if we could get to 130 k to be honest. think we have a fairly strict wage structure and believe our top earner may actually be ff. on about 100k 😵.

Why would we want Theo Walcott? I have been trying to think of a reason but no can't think of one. This has to be just journalistic speculation otherwise known as grabbing at straws.

Why would we not want him? We desperately need a creative player with some pace and he fits the bill, the current AM's seem bereft of ideas.

If Walcott allegedly wants that amount then he clearly doesn't want to come (if he ever did)
