Can someone confirm the deal with Ings please. Does he automatically become a full time Saints player at the end of the year or is his deal an option to buy at an agreed price? Don't want to end up having the same issues as we had with Toby A a few years back.

We've got the option to buy and I believe the end price will be 20 mil.

It's an obliged transfer at the end of his loan spell with a value of around 18 million so I heard. He will become a permanent Saint the end of the season.

Most of the ITK's seem to think he's essentially already a southampton player - signed contracts etc just that at the point in which liverpool made him available it was quicker and easier to sign him as a loanee as a full transfer may not have gone through in time.

Similar thing to Bertrand iirc.

I believe the fee is the instalment we are due in vvd so a done deal if we take the option.
