Any legs in the Walker-peters deal Eds? I read that Saints are looking at the possibility of taking him on loan with a view to a permanent deal. I admit I do like these kind of deals, helped us in getting Bertrand and Ings while also stopped us wasting dosh on Caulker, Taider, Elia, and others (Alderweireld the exception) .
Cons with this deal: why on earth would we try to sign someone who cannot dislodge Aurier from the first team?

{Ed002's Note - Kyle Walker-Peters (RB) Crystal Palace have been in discussions with Spurs over taking KWP on loan as the player is keen to leave for game time. The problem is that Spurs are keen to sell Serge Aurier and Milan are pushing for a loan to buy (as they do not have the funds to buy him and a low bid will fall on deaf ears). Milan are also being pushed to take Kenny Tete but could be tempted to offer up Krzysztof Piatek as part of the deal. If Aurier departs it means that any move for KWP could well be delayed until Spurs can get their replacement (ideally Elseid Hysaj as Ricardo Pereira remains unlikely) in. Dougie Freedman has been negotiating on behalf of Crystal Palace and has been told this. A further complication is the interest of Southampton and Brighton in taking KWP on an initial loan. A loan for KWP would allow to concentrate on getting their first choice in the summer.}

Lots of actors in that play I see. Very much appreciated Ed002.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}
