I have just seen saints kit for next season, personally I don't like it, Saints should always be red and white striped shirts, tradition is there for a reason. what do others make of it.

{Ed002's Note - The Press Release implies it is an anniversary kit reflecting the kit from when the club was founded.}

Anniversary kit would be our third strip, which I love, similar to 2010/ 11 season.

First kit reminds me of Middlesbrough when they were in the PL in 2017, bit tacky, but better than the ‘bra’ phase we’ve been going through of late. Bring back 2014-16 strips, I loved those. Sponsor also isn’t really in keeping with our colours being the massive ugly shape it is.

I like it, only so much you can do with stripes ever year. Traditionally we’re red and white (with a little black) but fairly often we’ve changed it up, 1989 was the only year of the 80’s we had a striped shirt and 15 years out of the last 40 have been something other than stripes (17 if you count the Pony tick shirt)

Away shirt will be same as the third just black instead of white btw.

I really like it, as someone who tries to buy at least the home and away shirts as a way to support the club every season, it’s nice to have something other than red and white stripes in the wardrobe.

Something a little different every third or fourth season is fine by me.

As a business move it is probably quite savvy by the club to try to invigorate sales, instead of people not wanting the new kit if it was just another red and white stripe kit that many fans already have.

So it may boost sales this season and next when they will invariably return back to the favored stripes.

{Ed047's Note - I just had a look, really quite like it, nice kit.
