Totally agree with saintGgsy PEH said that he wanted to move to play champions league and the only two clubs who have shown in an interest are nowhere near that level, the fact that the big six clubs have shown no interest says it all . Great to have JWP captaining the team Southampton through and through, probably only until someone offers 30 million or more then the club will sell him as well.

But that's the club's business model, to buy talent; nurture it and then sell for a profit - It's been well documented.
